Philly is amazing
Hello friends, family, and lurkers. We’ve made it to Philly which is our launching point for Europe! Here are the basics.
9:00pm (EST) we leave for Dublin
8:00am (GMT) we arrive in Dublin
Here we are waiting for our flight (the moth was in North Andover, but we think it’s cool).
We’ll be renting a car in Dublin to head to “THE ROCK OF CASHEL.” Over the past 2 months Ben and I have been learning to drive a standard, and in the end it’s clear that one of us is a better driver than the other…more on that later. We both are a little nervous, because not only do we have to drive stick, but on the opposite side of the road, and we’re going to have to avoid flocks of sheep while driving on cliffy roads. Like I said before, this hasn’t happened yet, so we’ll have more to say about this later.
We’ve been trying to get closer to Europe time, so even though it’s 8pm here, it feels like it’s bedtime…and we haven’t even left the good ol’ USA.
P.S. It’s Ben’s birthday! He’s old
